Senior Project Manager: Drainage (Dublin)
Key Responsibilities
Lead the successful delivery of capital projects, ensuring achievement of budget, schedule, quality, and performance objectives.
Direct and oversee project design development throughout the entire project lifecycle, including Design & Build phases.
Manage stakeholder engagement and coordination, working collaboratively with internal and external parties to ensure project milestones and delivery timelines are achieved.
Procure, coordinate, and manage multidisciplinary consultant teams, including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Water and Wastewater Process Engineers, Environmental Specialists, Archaeologists, and Quantity Surveyors.
Oversee project estimating, planning, statutory approvals, procurement activities, and governance processes, while maintaining close collaboration with Asset Management, Operations, HSQE, Communications, and Customer Operations teams.
Maintain accountability for project controls, resource planning, and service delivery requirements, ensuring appropriate consultant oversight and approval of payment applications and certificates.
Develop, monitor, and report on project delivery plans, cash flow forecasts, earned value metrics, and overall project performance.
Manage and supervise construction contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, quality standards, and health and safety expectations.
Qualifications
Over 15 years of experience leading the delivery of major infrastructure and capital investment programmes, with particular expertise in large‑scale civil engineering, drainage, and utility projects.
Extensive knowledge of project and contract management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Demonstrated success in developing, implementing, and driving high‑performing project programmes that achieve strategic and operational objectives.
Significant experience operating within complex, multi‑stakeholder environments, effectively managing relationships across clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, local authorities, and community representatives.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence decision‑making, build collaborative partnerships, and lead multidisciplinary teams to successful outcomes.
