Main purpose of jobOur Product Specialists are the face of the Company, ensuring that clients are getting the best products and the best value for money. We pride ourselves on ensuring that the customer gets the best possible outcome, regardless of whether this means we make a sale. We strive to always be empathetic with clients' needs whilst maintaining professionalism, and we regularly request customer feedback to ensure we have the right people.Key Responsibilities, Duties And TasksCarry out seating assessments in Ireland via home visits, care homes and hospitals with assessment chairs (including bariatric chairs), and beds as requiredAssist colleagues with upstairs deliveries of chairs/beds where requiredCarry out demonstration/training sessions and presentations to groups of prescribers as directed by Sales ManagersManaging diary to ensure all parts required for booked jobs are availableComplete required administrative workEnsure that all clients are receiving an excellent level of customer service from AccoraMaximise sales activity by supporting the sales team when requiredHelp develop new areas of business - geographically and new productsMaintain and continually improve relationships with existing clients, particularly with key contactsParticipate in product developmentRegular video conferences with head officeRegular face-to-face meetings at head office - normally every 6 monthsRetain and maintain demonstration equipment in good conditionAdhere to relevant quality and regulatory requirements at all timesMaintain excellent levels of personal appearance and hygiene at all timesGeneral expectationsMaintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job and participate in appropriate training activitiesUndertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job, whether that be on-the-job training, in-house training or external training coursesUndertake health and safety duties commensurate with the post and as detailed in the Company's Health and Safety PolicyAct as an ambassador of the Company and promote the company brand, always displaying a positive image to customers and members of the publicLive and breathe our core values - insight, determination and integrity; deliver to our mission statement and promote the Company's long-term visionRequirementsQualifications and trainingIt isdesirablethat the postholder has:Qualification to A-level standard or equivalentExperience And KnowledgeIt isdesirablethat the postholder has:Relevant product and industry knowledgeSales experienceExperience working aloneFace to face customer experienceSkills And AbilitiesIt isessentialthat the postholder has/is:Effective and confident communication skills, with an excellent level of EnglishAbility to work effectively both individually and in a teamAbility to use initiative in a variety of challenging situationsGood ICT skillsOther RequirementsIt isessentialthat the postholder has/is:Empathy and a genuine desire to help peopleFlexibility dealing with multiple and varying duties concurrentlyPositive, confident and determined approachContinuous improvement mindsetReliabilityFull, clean UK driving licencePrepared to stay overnight in hotels as necessary for maximum travel efficiencyLocated in CorkBenefitsCompetitive salaryCompany van, phone and laptop providedTraining & developmentAnnual leave: 25 days per yearCompany laptop providedAbout Accora:We are a dynamic and innovative company dedicated to designing and manufacturing assistive medical devices that enhance the lives of people who require extra support due to age, disability or injury.
