This role will ensure data systems support business objectives, enhance decision-making, and improve customer experience. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in data architecture, database management, and analytics, with strong communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.We consider candidates who wish to work fully onsite, hybrid, or remote. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, and we are open to daily rate contractors as well.Key Responsibilities:Data Architecture Design:Develop, maintain, and optimize data architecture and models supporting organizational goals, ensuring scalability and performance.Design effective data flows and ETL processes for data integration from various sources.Data Management:Implement and oversee data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance.Monitor and resolve issues in data storage and database performance.Data Analysis:Perform complex data analysis and reporting to support business initiatives, providing actionable insights.Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate key metrics.Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:Work with IT, business units, and external partners to align data architecture with business needs.Facilitate workshops to identify data requirements and strategies.Technology and Tools:Stay updated on latest data technologies and best practices, recommending improvements.Evaluate and implement data management and analytics tools.Documentation and Standards:Maintain documentation of data architecture, policies, and procedures.Develop and enforce data management standards.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related; Master’s preferred.Experience: At least (X) years in data architecture, analysis, and database management; proven experience with data modeling, ETL, and governance frameworks.Skills: Proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Snowflake, Redshift; experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, Nifi; data visualization with Tableau, Power BI, Looker; familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); strong analytical and communication skills.Personal Attributes:Detail-oriented, collaborative, capable of managing multiple projects, passionate about data-driven decision-making.
