Compliance Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned compliance professional to assume a strategic leadership role within our Information Governance and Records Management functions.
* Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive governance agendas, ensuring Data Protection, FOI, and Environmental Information compliance.
* Act as the lead for Data Protection Officer (DPO) responsibilities, guaranteeing GDPR adherence and managing data breaches.
* Develop and oversee Records Management Strategies, including electronic document systems, to ensure seamless information management.
* Provide expert counsel to senior leadership and stakeholders on critical compliance and governance matters.
* Represent our organization in external forums and tribunals, promoting best practices and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading the execution of comprehensive governance agendas.
* Managing data breaches and ensuring GDPR compliance.

The Ideal Candidate
* Degree-qualified with 2+ years' experience in compliance, governance, or records management.
* Proven track record in budget management and staff supervision.
* Strong working knowledge of GDPR, FOI, and Data Protection legislation.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to interpret complex legislation.
