Lead Sales Partner Manager Job Summary
This is a leadership role that blends people management, partner relations, and strategic execution. The successful candidate will drive sales growth through strong team leadership, effective partner management, and proactive pipeline management.
Main Responsibilities
* Team Leadership & Coaching: Build a high-performing sales team by providing clear vision, setting ambitious goals, and offering regular coaching and mentoring.
* Strategic Sales Planning: Develop sales strategies to achieve corporate priorities within the partner segment.
* Pipeline Management & Deal Execution: Own the sales pipeline from commitment to close across the partner portfolio.
* Revenue Accountability & Growth: Be accountable for achieving and exceeding CSP revenue targets within the corporate segment through partners.
* Partner Performance Management: Lead partner commercial performance as a business leader, establishing a joint business rhythm with major partners and conducting monthly and quarterly business reviews.
* Co-Sell Strategy & Execution: Champion co-sell strategies with partners, ensuring joint selling efforts between partners and Microsoft field sellers.
* Territory & Deal Orchestration: Ensure strong execution of territory planning and deal orchestration, holding team and partners accountable for pursuing opportunities.
* Trusted Advisor & Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted advisor and business leader to partners and within Microsoft.
Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business operations, computer science, or a related field.
* Experience: 10+ years in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience.
* Skills: Demonstrated people management experience and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
