With a proud history and an ambitious vision for the future, the FAI is committed to fostering excellence on and off the pitch, ensuring the game is inclusive, accessible, and a source of national pride.Purpose of the RoleThe Marketing Manager leads the end-to-end development and delivery of performance-driven, digitally led marketing campaigns that enhance fan engagement, drive revenue, and support the organisation's commercial objectives. This role owns campaign briefing, planning, execution, optimisation, and reporting across all digital and traditional channels. The Marketing Manager oversees creative, digital, and media agency partners and ensures the seamless production of assets across paid social, search, programmatic, CRM, and email. They also manage the delivery of all marketing assets for match days, events, and sponsorship activations, ensuring a consistent, high-quality presence across every fan-facing touchpoint.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute marketing strategies and performance marketing campaigns that support ticketing, partnerships, grassroots programmes, and revenue-generating initiatives with clear ownership from brief to delivery.Collaborate closely with the Commercial Department to design and deliver high-impact campaigns that drive revenue growth and fan engagement and fulfil partner and sponsorship marketing requirements.Manage external marketing, creative, digital, and media agencies to ensure efficient delivery of brand assets, media placements and best-in-class campaign delivery in line with the FAI's 2026 objectives.Oversee digital performance marketing across paid social, search, programmatic, CRM and email channels, ensuring data-driven optimisation and measurable ROI.Plan and deliver all print, signage, branding, and stadium activation requirements for international match days and FAI events ensuring consistent and high-quality execution across every fan-facing touchpoint.Monitor and analyse campaign performance, producing regular reports, dashboards and insights to support strategic decision-making.Ensure brand consistency and digital best practice across all marketing materials, channels, and partner activations.Manage marketing budgets, timelines, and workflows to ensure efficient delivery of multiple concurrent campaigns across a busy and expanding football calendar.Monitor and analyse campaign performance, producing regular reports and insights to support strategic decision-making.Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials, channels, and partner activations.Manage marketing budgets, timelines, and workflows to deliver projects efficiently and to the highest standard.Person SpecificationA creative, digital savvy and commercially minded marketer with strong analytical skills and a data-informed approach to decision-making.Highly organised with the ability to manage concurrent campaigns, overlapping timelines, and a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong communicator with the confidence to lead agency partners and internal teams while providing clear direction and maintaining high standards of delivery.Experience and QualificationsEssential:5+ years' experience in marketing, with proven expertise in performance marketing digital campaigns, and full campaign lifecycle ownership.Experience managing media, creative and digital agencies.Demonstrated experience delivering multi-channel campaigns with measurable results across paid, owned, and earned media.Experience producing or overseeing print, OOH, stadium signage, or event branding.Strong understanding of CRM platforms and audience segmentation to support data-driven optimisation.Desirable:Experience in sport, entertainment, or live events marketing particularly in high-volume, time-sensitive environments.Qualification in marketing, digital marketing, business, communications, or a related field.Experience collaborating with commercial teams, partners, or rights-holders on sponsorship or activation campaigns.Skills & Professional KnowledgeStrong understanding of paid digital channels, CRM/segmentation, media planning, and performance analytics with the ability to apply insights across multi-channel campaigns.Excellent project management and organisational skills.Ability to interpret campaign data and optimise strategies to improve ROI, and inform decision-making.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Knowledge of brand management and creative production processes.Campaign strategy & executionAgency & media managementCollaboration & commercial partnership supportEvent marketing & match day deliveryCompetenciesCore Competencies1.
