Key Responsibilities:
1. CAD Drafting & Design: Prepare accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for projects, including site plans, borehole logs, site investigation layouts, and trench diagrams.
2. Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, geologists, and other team members to understand project requirements and ensure that drawings align with technical specifications.
3. Data Processing: Assist in the processing and presentation of site data, including survey information, borehole data, and test results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards.
4. Documentation: Maintain and organize project files, drawings, and documentation for easy retrieval and compliance with company standards.
5. Quality Assurance: Review and check completed drawings for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to industry standards, project requirements, and company procedures.
6. Software Usage: Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar) to produce detailed drawings and assist with design modifications as required.
7. Communication: Communicate with team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure drawing requirements and project timelines are met.
Skills & Experience Required:
8. Essential:
Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar CAD software); experience with Civil 3D is an advantage. Basic understanding of site investigation techniques and ground investigation terminology. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, accurate drawings. Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Qualifications:
9. A relevant qualification in CAD, engineering, or a related field.
10. Relevant on-the-job training or experience will also be considered.
