Design Project Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced professional to coordinate with architects, designers, and engineers to design architecture for construction projects. This position requires the ability to examine building codes, by-laws, space requirements, site requirements, and other technical documents and reports, following building regulations and legal requirements.
1. Evaluate and advise on environmental, legal and regulatory issues.
2. Contribute to planning applications and other regulatory application procedures.
3. Identify required surveys and ensure they're undertaken and their results are fed into the project.
4. Develop project briefs and work on these as the project progresses.
5. Prepare and present design proposals using CAD.
6. Carry out design-stage risk assessments.
7. Administer contracts and project certification.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Relevant Technical Qualification.
2. Ability to produce high-quality technical drawings.
3. Excellent Communication/Presentation skills.
4. Proficiency in Archicad essential.
5. Sketchup and Photoshop Skills – desirable.
6. Hand-Drawing/Sketching skills – advantageous.
