Job Title: Financial Regulation Assistant
We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Financial Regulation Assistant.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will provide secretarial and administrative support to the executive team in the Financial Regulation Section. This will involve providing high-quality administrative services, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. They will also be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, and have experience working in a regulatory or legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing secretarial and administrative support to the executive team
* Maintaining case management systems and updating various Excel spreadsheets
* Dealing with queries on regulatory history of solicitors
* Filing documents and maintaining accurate records
* Liaising with team members and other executives
* Assisting with reporting accountants reports function
* Answering telephone and email queries from solicitors and accountants
* Drafting correspondence to solicitors and accountants
* Preparing documentation for regulatory committee meetings
* Uploading documents onto the Intellidocs system
* Hosting virtual committee meetings
* Performing other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Head of Financial Regulation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess:
* Excellent administrative, organizational, and communication skills
* Excellent IT skills in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
* A good eye for detail and the ability to carry out accurate and precise work under pressure and time constraints
* An ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility and adaptability in their approach to work
* Some experience working in a regulatory, legal, or other professional environment
