About the role
Co-ordination of communications with the editorial and production teams
Co-ordination of graphic and other visual content for reports and other items
Administration of payments and invoices relating to staff and contractors in tandem with News & Current Affairs Finance
Administration of the rostering of all resources, staff and contractors, including leave and other absences, and office supplies
Creation of technically accurate running orders using newsroom software
Assisting in control-room operations where appropriate
About you
Good technical aptitude and excellent organisational skills
Have drive, enthusiasm, a high level of initiative with the ability to work accurately, independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
Ability to work well with others
Ability to work with ease in an Irish-language environment
Good awareness of our news environment and newsroom workflows
Good understanding of RTÉ's journalism guidelines
Based in Baile na hAbhann, this position will be offered on a full-time, fixed-purpose basis with a salary range of €38,203 – €59,463 gross per annum.
