Our organisation is seeking an accomplished and meticulous finance professional to support senior accountants with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial records are maintained using accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist senior accountants with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and financial statement preparation
* Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
* Process invoices, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
* Contribute to the preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements
* Communicate effectively with clients regarding queries and required documentation
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures
* Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable
* Prepare and submit payroll information as necessary
* Collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders in a professional manner
Qualifications and Experience:
* Prior experience in a practice environment is essential
* CPA/ACCA/ACA/AAT qualification or relevant accounting certification
* Ability to use Microsoft productivity software such as Excel and Word
* Exceptional attention to detail
