Your Role in Carbery's Success:
Carbery are seeking an experienced receptionist to join their team.
The successful Candidate will be the 'face' of the organisation. You are the first point of contact for visitors and employees.
How You Will Contribute:
o Receiving visitors at Reception by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
o Switchboard, answering screening and forwarding incoming phone calls
o Ensuring reception area is tidy, and presentable.
o Shareholders – speaking with shareholders and passing on information to relevant parties
o Purchase Orders
o Maintaining reception security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
o Signing in visitors and issuing visitor badges.
o Creating and deleting employee fob keys
o Checking cameras regularly for any health and safety issues
o Responding to intercom on security gates during normal working hours.
o Responding to Fire Alarms
o Contacting relevant health and safety personnel if the fire alarm goes off in Reception
o Checking to see if the doors have been released, resetting doors
o DHL / Courier
o Completing online bookings
o Responding to queries relating to prices, delivery times, contacts
o Cheese Complaints
o Completing cheese complaint book (using red pen); advising relevant people
o Completing customer complaint log (located on desktop)
o Signing for packages
o Alcohol
o Completing paperwork for the 3 types of Alcohol (1, 2, & 77)
o Booking, confirming and arranging transport for all orders
o Positively participate in team meetings
o Participate in continuous improvement projects relevant to the reception role
o Miscellaneous
o Photographing new starters.
o Audit (Tesco)
o Be familiar with procedures for Audit and who to contact
Key Ingredients For Success:
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skill and Experience:
o Proven work experience as a Receptionist (desirable but not essential)
o Professional and positive attitude and appearance
o Excellent customer service attitude
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
o Solid written and verbal communication skills
o Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
o Excellent organisational and administration skills
o Good multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
