Contract Type: Permanent
Contract Hours: 24 hours per week
Salary Scale: €31,728 pro rata per annum.
Annual Leave Entitlement: 22 Days pro rata per annum.
Overview of the Post
Help maximise sales and profit and assist in managing the Garden Centre in a commercial manner.
Encourage staff and volunteers to help achieve sales targets to maximise our contribution to Enable Ireland’s services.
Overview of Duties & Responsibilities
Support the delivery of the store budget for each period and achieve sales targets.
Maintain the Garden Centre and its stock to the highest standards.
Responsible for ordering and recording stock.
Essential Criteria
Proven experience in Horticulture, especially in Garden Centre Maintenance.
Proven record of accomplishment, including experience in plant maintenance.
A broad knowledge of plants.
Customer focused.
Ability to achieve Sales Targets.
Strong interest in Gardening and horticulture.
Desirable Criteria
A recognised qualification in Horticulture or a related field.
