About The Job
We are looking for a Business Development Associate to support growth in the Irish market by generating new business opportunities and booking high quality discovery calls for our Business Development Managers. This role is focused on outbound prospecting, early-stage qualification, and building a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities within targeted sectors.
The Business Development Associate will work closely with sales and marketing teams, using structured outreach and market insight to engage prospective customers and progress them into the sales funnel.
Key Responsabilities
* Identify, research, and target prospective customers within agreed sectors in the Irish market
* Execute outbound prospecting activity across phone, email, and LinkedIn
* Qualify inbound and outbound leads against defined criteria
* Book high quality discovery meetings for Business Development Managers
* Maintain accurate and up to date records in CRM
* Work closely with marketing on campaigns, messaging, and follow up activity
* Track activity levels, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution
* Continuously refine messaging based on market feedback and performance data
About You
* Proven experience in a B2B business development, sales development, or lead generation role
* Experience selling into industrial, commercial, or enterprise organisations preferred
* Knowledge of, or interest in, the energy or energy services sector is highly desirable
* Strong communication skills with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
* Structured, resilient, and comfortable with high volume outbound activity
* Experience using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce
* Based in Dublin or able to attend the Dublin office regularly
