Description
Minimum 2 years' experience of working in an administrative capacity.
At least 3 months previous experience of working in a hospital / clinic environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience of dealing with the public and staff at all levels within the organisation.
Excellent team player.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to display initiative during the course of work.
Ability to use computer based systems to include a detailed knowledge of MS Office and in house systems e.g. iPMS, Mediscan, MN-CMS, Health link, T-Pro.
A positive customer focused approach in dealing with the general public.
Knowledge of Patient Charter, Freedom of Information Act and Data Protection Act.
Must possess caring and empathetic qualities and demonstrate these attributes in the course of employment.
Understanding of the components of the Cervical Screening Pathway.
Understanding of current techniques and best practice in Colposcopy and primary treatment of cervical gynaecology.
