Position Description:

The Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”) team supports business units and compliance professionals across the company and is responsible for establishing, maintaining and developing a framework that ensures that the division operates to the highest standards of regulatory compliance and governance. The Anti-Money Laundering Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day functions within the AML team and for supporting and delivering any key projects or technology developments on the team.

What you’ll do:

* Responsible for the performance and oversight of AML processes within the team to ensure company and regulatory objectives are achieved while ensuring adherence to applicable policies.

* Act as a primary AML contact for clients, fund MLROs, investors and other key stakeholders.

* Continuous development of AML desk procedures and job aids and ensure alignment with policies and service level agreements.

* Oversee refresh process of existing business, in accordance with agreed cycles.

* Oversee ongoing screening and issue resolution and documentation of results.

* Perform ongoing monitoring of business, including PEP’s and transaction monitoring.

* Assist in the implementation of new business within the AML team including the review of new fund documents.

* Assist the business in coordinating and implementing any regulatory changes that may arise.

* Ensure regular AML management reporting across all funds is produced accurately and timely for submission to Management and Clients/Fund Boards

* Identify emerging risks through regular reviews and assessment of processes and implement effective controls to mitigate exposure.

* Implementation of additional or new AML technology as required to improve the overall AML process environment and client experience.

* Report to senior management on any key AML metrics and operational matters as they arise.

* Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Compliance and Internal Audit to support audits and any continuous monitoring programmes.

* Represent SEI in a professional manner during onsite due diligence visits by clients, Fund MLRO’s and The Regulator

* Train staff on AML procedures, protocols, and emerging regulatory requirements.

* Manage team members through identification of development requirements, ‘on the job’ coaching / mentoring, and training, to enable provision of superior client service.

* Through the appropriate interpersonal skills and methods, be responsible for guiding and positively influencing the actions of individuals and groups toward achieving desired results and promoting a team atmosphere.

* Management of employees to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

* Ensure succession planning process in place and operational within department through identification and development of high potential personnel.

* Champion HR policies and ensure all are applied and maintained.

* Perform all duties assigned to your role under the Company’s Safety Statement, to ensure Health, Safety and Well-being for all employees for whom you have responsibility.

* Cultivation / management of relationships with key team leaders representing a broad range of functions and levels in order to utilise relationship networks to achieve goals.

What you bring to the table:

* 7 years + within the funds industry - alternative and hedge funds experience would be an advantage but knowledge of other fund products are also relevant

o of which 4 of these years managing an AML team of 4 or more employees

* Knowledge of compliance and regulation within the Financial Services Industry in Europe

* In-depth knowledge of Irish Anti-Money Laundering requirements

* Very strong risk awareness (preferably EU legislation driving AML regulations)

* Customer service experience

* In depth knowledge of the Microsoft suite of tools

* Project management experience

* PC proficient

* General systems integration and life-cycle experience

* Experience with TA systems such as NTAS applications

* Third Level Qualification
