We are currently looking for Cable Pulling PICW / Foreman to join our site in Dublin. You will be working on our different sites in Dublin and surrounding area.
Responsibilities of the Cable Pulling PICW include:
* Ensuring adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards during all cable pulling operations.
* Conducting initial site assessments to determine safety measures, resource needs, traffic management plans, and supervision requirements.
* Coordinating the delivery of all cables specified in project drawings and specifications to the designated site locations as needed.
* Managing the cable pulling crew and overseeing the operation of cable winches.
* Setting and coordinating delivery schedules to align with project or framework deadlines.
* Maintaining comprehensive records and organizing work schedules efficiently.
* Addressing and resolving challenges encountered by the cable pulling team effectively.
* Providing guidance and instructions to the cable pulling crew and maintaining communication with the Works Manager.
* Collaborating closely with the Works Manager to ensure timely receipt of schedules for planning cable pulling activities.
Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications:
* Strong knowledge of safety protocols, quality standards, and team leadership.
* Proven management skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to train and mentor new team members.
* Experience operating cable winches and managing cable drums is advantageous.
* Enjoyment of outdoor work environments.
* Ability to work independently.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar supervisory role.

* Manual Handling
* Full Clean Driving Licence
