BMS Project Engineer
to join their Dublin-based team.

Working closely with mechanical and electrical contractors, they provide engineered solutions that support reliability, efficiency, and compliance across building services systems.
THE ROLE
The
BMS Project Engineer
will be responsible for supporting projects from early-stage design through to delivery, acting as a key technical interface between customers, internal teams, and supply partners.
Key responsibilities include:
Working closely with
mechanical and electrical contractors
to develop BMS and EPS designs.
Providing
technical solutions and system designs
for building management and power monitoring systems.
Supporting the design and selection of
PLCs, electrical breakers, power monitoring equipment
, and associated controls.
Designing and specifying
temperature, humidity, and environmental sensors and control systems
.
Supporting project coordination and ensuring designs meet client, regulatory, and performance requirements.
Providing technical input during pre-contract and tender stages.
Attending
occasional site visits
(typically 1-3 per quarter) to support project delivery.
This role suits someone who enjoys technical problem-solving, customer interaction, and working on complex building systems from an office-based environment.
THE PERSON
Our client is open to candidates from a range of backgrounds and is seeking someone who:
Has experience in
BMS, building controls, or HVAC controls
, either in a
project, design, or technical sales role
.
Possesses strong
commercial awareness
and enjoys working with contractors and clients.
Has knowledge of
electrical components
, including PLCs, breakers, and monitoring systems.
Understands BMS architecture, sensors, and environmental control systems.
Can communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Is organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
