Leadership Role in Insurance Law
This leadership position plays a pivotal role in supporting the organization's insurance and pensions law initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to strategic decision-making, drive growth in expertise, and oversee a team of expert lawyers.
* Provide expert legal guidance to senior management and business colleagues on corporate, commercial, and consumer law matters.
* Develop and promote a comprehensive legal strategy aligned with business objectives.
* Plan and manage day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring seamless execution.
* Anticipate, assess, and report on potential legal risks, enabling proactive measures.
* Negotiate, draft, and review critical legal contracts that shape business relationships.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Compliance department to foster a strong compliance culture and actively participate in the wider GLS Management Team's activities.
Requirements for Success
* Irish qualified lawyer with extensive commercial experience in a commercial/in-house environment.
* Proven leadership skills to lead, empower, and mentor a high-performing team.
* In-depth knowledge of the insurance and pensions industry in Ireland, including its challenges and opportunities.
