Project Manager – Water / Wastewater (Sewer and Water Connections)

In partnership with our client, a leading Irish civil and utilities company, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact and lead multiple projects within urban and rural environments.
Approach projects from a commercial perspective.
Manage Sewer & Water Connections across the greater Dublin area and surrounding counties.
Detail costs to complete values and claims narratives.
Build successful relationships with clients, client representatives, and third‑party stakeholders.
Draw, construct, and review detailed drawings for value engineering and efficient design.
Study design briefs and prepare design packs from concept to detailed designs, considering environmental, archaeological, and other relevant aspects.
Draft and communicate regular status reports to guide required actions.
Manage an existing team, demonstrating effective communication, leadership, and motivation.
Review construction practicalities of complex design works within the water and wastewater industry.
Coordinate seamlessly with staff, departments, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Develop current team structures and processes, and introduce new supply chains.
The Candidate: Required Experience and Competencies
Experience with UK or Irish Water Standards (Potable & Foul).
Confident, motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
Time‑management skills to meet targets.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer‑service skills.
Integrity and respect for confidentiality and privacy.
