We are seeking an exceptional Senior Nurse Manager to lead our nursing home team in County Kildare. As Assistant Director of Nursing, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of care and support for our residents.
In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for undertaking the role and responsibilities of the Person-in-Charge in line with Health Act 2007 regulations and HIQA standards. You will ensure that overall standards of hygiene and food safety are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with senior managers to deliver housekeeping standards; food safety, quality, and choice; maintenance standards; and administration efficiency
* Participate in clinical management within the home in consultation with the DON, including providing care to residents, communicating with families/representatives, managing staff, monitoring performance and standards
* Develop policies and procedures aligned with HIQA regulations
You must have 3 years post-registration experience in a nursing home environment within the last 6 years. You should possess good people skills, thorough knowledge of HIQA regulations,
