Formally known as IMV Technology and ECM (Echo Control Medical), IMV imaging is the dedicated veterinary imaging department of IMV Technologies. We are world leaders in providing veterinary imaging equipment including Ultrasound, X-ray, endoscopy, CT and MRI. We have a true dedication to our staff, recognised with Investors in People status.
Location: This role will be partly home based but will involve visiting customers as part of a designated territory. There will also be some overseas travel as required. The territory covers the West side of Ireland. Applications based within the territory would be preferable.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of the customer’s needs, their business account and their relationship with IMV Imaging.
* Develop and promote IMV Imaging as a leading company within the veterinary industry and marketplace.
* Engage with our existing customer base by building relationships and fully understanding their clinical needs.
* Identify new business opportunities and potential leads within veterinary practices.
* Develop relationships with key opinion leaders within various sectors of the veterinary market.
* Understand the clinical needs of a veterinary practice in terms of diagnostic imaging equipment.
* Provide sales quotations and advice on suitable equipment, and carry out successful demonstrations.
* Arrange installations and training as required following purchase of equipment.
* Follow up with customers, ensuring that their needs are met.
* Work closely with other departments to provide a seamless service to our customers.
* Liaise with the service team when customers need advice or repairs.
* Learn and use IMV’s Customer relationship management (CRM) system.
* Attend general account manager quarterly meetings and occasional training days.
* Engage in regular team meetings with the general management team.
* Travel away from home as required (all accommodation and travel expenses will be reimbursed).
Education and/or experience required
* A vet, an RVN or someone with prior experience within the veterinary industry as an account manager.
* Good understanding of the veterinary industry within Ireland.
* Previous sales experience would be an advantage.
* Skilled confident communicator.
* Friendly, flexible and relaxed attitude to maintain customer support.
* Sound negotiation and problem-solving skills.
* Enjoy building relationships and working as part of a team.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Motivation & desire to succeed.
* Willingness to work hard.
* Financial acumen, understanding budgeting and pricing strategy.
* A team player who is prepared to get involved in various business projects.
* Willingness to travel.
