Family Support Worker - Children’s Services, Dublin. Relief contract. Salary: €35,948 - €45,188 (subject to relevant public sector experience and pro-rated for hours of work).

Responsibilities
* Provide interdisciplinary team supports, residential, family support and education services to 0-18 year old children and young people with complex needs and their families.
* Work in partnership with families within a family-centred model.
* Support individuals to participate actively in their local communities and maximise independence with a person-centred approach.
Essential qualifications
* FETAC Level 5/QQI in Healthcare / Social Care / Early Childhood or a related discipline, or be in pursuit of same.
* Previous experience in the area of intellectual disabilities is desirable.
* Ability to manage time effectively and work on one''s own initiative.
* Flexibility and creativity in approach.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Commitment to promoting active engagement and participation of individuals in their local communities.
* Be person-centred in enabling individuals to maximise independence and develop meaningful roles in society.
* Be available to work evenings and weekends.
