My client, a Tier 1 Main Contractor based in Dublin, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team.
The role involves working on multiple residential and commercial projects across Dublin.
Responsibilities Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
Lead all aspects of Project Team functions.
Compile and implement the Project Execution Plan, with specific reference to HSE & Quality plans.
Prepare contract reports and, with the QS, provide updates at monthly cost meetings.
Review buildability and identify construction methods that offer commercial or programme advantages.
Plan, organise, and direct construction activities for structures, facilities, and systems.
Develop project plans and schedules and execute them to achieve agreed outcomes.
Coordinate project activities in line with company Quality Systems, Standard Quality Procedures, and Engineering Specifications.
Meet objectives relating to timely delivery, cost, quality, and client satisfaction.
Ensure successful project delivery through leadership, management, and technical expertise across the full project lifecycle.
Attend regular meetings with clients, architects, and consultants, keeping them informed of progress.
Requirements Degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or Construction Management).
Experience within a main contractor.
Strong IT skills, including MS Office and project scheduling software.
Good knowledge of safety and quality management systems.
