Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Financial Reporting & Advisory Manager to join their growing advisory team. They are committed to professional development, recognising achievement, and creating opportunities for long-term career growth.ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of multiple financial reporting and advisory engagements, ensuring projects are completed to a high standard, on time, and within budget.Prepare and review statutory and consolidated financial statements under IFRS, FRS 102, and US GAAP.Provide guidance to clients on a range of technical accounting matters, including: Business combinations and acquisitions, Group restructures, Consolidation issues, Revenue recognition, Lease accounting, Impairment reviewsManage engagement planning, resource coordination, risk management, and quality control processes.Develop and maintain strong working relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted business advisor.Support, mentor, and develop junior team members, encouraging both technical and professional growth.Assist with business development activities, including proposals, presentations, and identifying opportunities to expand client relationships.Work collaboratively with colleagues across different service lines and international teams.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, internal policies, and risk management procedures.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, efficiency, and overall client experience.Applicants must have the followingProfessionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).At least 5 years’ post-qualification experience within audit, financial reporting, or advisory services.Previous experience operating at Assistant Manager or Manager level within a professional services environment preferred.Background within a Top 20 accounting or advisory firm advantageous.Strong technical expertise in IFRS and/or US GAAP reporting standards.Demonstrated experience managing teams and overseeing complex client engagements.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility quickly.Strong organisational and project management abilities, with experience managing competing priorities effectively.Commercially focused with a practical and solutions-oriented approach.Familiarity with CaseWare and other electronic reporting or audit tools would be beneficial.Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.Our client is dedicated to building a workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
