My client is an established 3 partner-chartered accountancy firm based in, Co Meath. With an impressive database of clients, they have been providing quality-chartered accountancy services for over 30 years. They have a broad range of clients both in terms of audit, non-audit, sole trader etc. and in terms of industry/sector type.
Due to rapid growth, they are looking to add to their team a Senior Auditor
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Operational supervision of assignments with a specific focus on audit, resourced from a combined pool of staff to achieve client satisfaction combined with targeted operational deliverables
Management of the firm's relationship with clients including service delivery and co-ordination of service offerings from other departments
Involvement in training of student trainees
Preparation and presentation of reports to clients and partners on request.
Preparation and Completion of audit/audit exempt financial statements
Preparation of tax returns – primarily Corporation Tax/IXBRL for review
Preparation of budgets and cash flow projections
Dealing with miscellaneous inquiries from clients, banks, Revenue etc and also Revenue audits
Preparation of Working Papers (paperless) & Financial Statements in accordance with
Relevant Procedures and Standards
Investigate all issues on assignments to arrive at a solution or proposal
Ensure completion of assignments within appropriate budget and timeframe
Carry out assignments in a timely, professional and efficient manner
Achieve fee targets for assigned portfolio
Prepare technical briefs and checklists for staff and clients
Qualifications & Experience:
Qualified ACCA/ACA accountant with at least 3 years experience of working in a practice environment
An in-depth knowledge of Accounting and Auditing Standards
Currently working as a senior in a practice environment
Experience of operational supervision of assignments and managing of client relationships
CCH Accounts Production
Excel (Intermediate/Advanced preferable)
DRIVE (Practice Management and client database)
Virtual Cabinet (Document Management System)
Sage Line 50 (most common client accounting system)
Must have a full driver’s licence and car
