We are currently seeking a Design Manager to work with us in Ireland. The focus of the role is to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams to deliver compliant, safe, constructible designs that support effective delivery through Phase 6 and Phase 7.
Responsibilities
design support during construction,
answering RFIs / TQs,
review of contractor proposals and submittals,
checking temporary/permanent works interfaces,
assessing change and constructability,
supporting testing, commissioning and handover,
protecting compliance with the approved design intent.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years’ experience in design of major civil engineering projects (mandatory as per RfP)
Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or relevant technical field
Strong ability to coordinate and challenge specialist designers to produce integrated, clash‑free, construction‑ready designs
Proficiency in facilitating design assurance processes, including hazard logs, design reviews, and interdisciplinary interface management
Excellent communication, risk management and stakeholder management skills
Relevant training, certificates, professional memberships of relevant bodies are a plus
Willingness to travel as per client and business requirements
