Lead Business Development
We are seeking an innovative business development leader to spearhead growth across diverse market segments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Formulate and execute annual business strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
* Empower sales, events, reservations, and revenue teams to achieve targets through motivational leadership.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in corporate, leisure, wedding, and MICE markets.
* Represent the company at trade shows, sales trips, networking events, and client visits.
* Maintain a competitive edge by monitoring competitor activity, market trends, and adjusting strategies accordingly.
* Nurture relationships with external partners, including PR, digital agencies, and travel networks.
* Compile regular reports on business performance, highlighting areas for improvement.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years experience in senior business development roles within hospitality or a related industry.
* Strong commercial awareness and revenue management skills.
* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Organised and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
* Flexibility to travel for client meetings or events.
* Familiarity with hotel systems (e.g. Hotsoft) is advantageous.
