Workshop Supervisor - €2,000 Sign on Bonus
National Vehicle Distribution is a family-owned business established in ****, specialising in outbound vehicle logistics.
We are seeking a Workshop Supervisor with a strong background in a main dealer workshop environment to lead and motivate a team, ensuring quality, safety and business targets are met.
Role Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising workshop staff, performing quality checks, managing production flow, maintaining health and safety standards, and continually improving workshop efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise workshop staff and develop team skills.
Perform quality inspections at various stages of repair and final audits on completed vehicles.
Meet business targets and KPIs agreed with the manager.
Maintain the company's reputation through professional customer contact.
Assist colleagues as needed and contribute to harmonious working relations.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all workshop activities.
Escalate serious problems to the Operations Manager promptly.
Manage production flow and ensure availability of parts, consumables and equipment.
Coordinate training resources and delivery to meet demand.
Communicate daily/weekly schedules, deadlines and priorities to staff.
Ensure compliance with technical, quality, health & safety and environmental processes to 5'S and ISO standards.
Monitor and report on workshop performance, driving continuous improvement.
Maintain plant and equipment in conjunction with the Health and Safety Team.
Qualifications & Experience
Supervisory experience in a workshop environment.
Qualified technician with relevant certifications.
Main dealer experience preferred.
Strong leadership and team-management skills.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and driven.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office.
Ability to plan, prioritise and manage deadlines effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Full clean driving licence.
