This is a unique opportunity to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment while enjoying the lifestyle benefits of a vibrant coastal community.As an ED Registrar, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality emergency care, supported by FACEMs, senior medical officers, nursing staff, and allied health professionals.Key Responsibilities:Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of emergency presentations.Stabilize and manage critically ill and trauma patients under supervision.Participate in resuscitation, procedural sedation, airway management, and acute care interventions.Supervise and support junior doctors and medical students.Collaborate with inpatient teams and external healthcare providers to ensure safe patient transitions.Contribute to departmental education sessions, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.About the Hospital:Located on the beautiful northern Queensland coast, the hospital is a regional referral centre with a modern and well-equipped Emergency Department.
