Position Overview
We are searching for the best talent for the AIQ Engineer position to be in Cork, Ireland.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented AIQ Engineer to join our Quality Control team. The AIQ Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring reliability and compliance of Laboratory Systems. The successful candidate will be part of the Quality Control Lab Services Team which will support the IT activities of both new and ongoing projects. Experience in the support of IT applications is required.
As an AIQ Engineer, You Will Be
Work with ELM team colleagues to deliver IT elements of Laboratory capital projects.
Author\\Review\\Approve documents for lab systems.
Work with site teams on generation of requirements and\\or configuration of specifications and IOQ test protocols.
Involvements in risk assessments.
Knowledge of 21CFR Part 11 requirements and data integrity guidelines is desirable.
Strong oral and written communication skills are required, with proven ability tocommunicate and build relationships cross-functionally.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented and excellent organizational and time management skills.
Capable of relating well to other people with whom s/he comes in contact, both within and outside of the laboratory area.
Support system content deployment and end user training.
Recognize the importance of the quality control function in pharmaceutical production, the AIQ Engineer should display a high level of integrity in the performance of his/her work.
Ability to present in audit situations.
Qualification/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in an IT or scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Business Information Systems).
Experience of supporting QC laboratory systems is preferred but not essential.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft® Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10/11 and server based Operating Systems).
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
Ability and flexibility to perform all other job-related and ad-hoc duties as required.
Experience in Pharmaceutical industry an advantage.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated base pay range for this position is €52,400 to €82,915.
In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits: an annual bonus with set target (9% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions. Moreover, we offer vacation days, parental leave for a minimum of 12 weeks, bereavement leave, caregiver leave, volunteer leave, well-being reimbursement, and programs for financial, physical and mental health. We also offer service anniversary and recognition awards, and subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees - and in some location’s eligible dependents - can participate in several insurance plans.
