The Role
As a Design Manager with our client, you will assume a lead role in the delivery of large-scale Commercial and/or Residential projects. You will have Design Coordinators reporting into you, and will be responsible for project managing the delivery of projects across all stages from a design perspective.
You will ensure the coordination of the Design Management function with other functions within the organisation such as feasibility, planning, commercial and construction functions. Potential candidates for this role should have experience in the residential/commercial sector with exposure to the delivery of large-scale projects a prerequisite.
Required Background
* Degree in Architecture/Construction Mgmt/Engineering or similar
* 5+ years professional experience
* Exposure to large-scale Residential/Commercial projects required
* Experience with Main Contractors/Developer highly beneficial
* Track-record in delivering projects in the Irish market
* Ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with all stakeholders
* Must display a pragmatic, problem-solving approach to obstacles encountered
