Role and Responsibilities
•Management
of Month
end
close routine including reconciliation
of
balance
sheet accounts and
income statement
analysis for the various Irish entities
•Maintain Accounts
Payable
and Receivables system
on Herbst for
the company
•
Preparation of customer
sales
invoices including
collation
of billable hours and
preparation of Activity
Logs
•
El, Eurostars and R&D Tax Credit claim
submissions
•
Preparation
of cashflow and
budget projections
•Tax compliance and submissions
to Revenue
•
Additional
accounting
reports
as required
•
Liaise
with external Auditors,
Bank, Payroll and Government
authorities
•Cover
of
monthly
Payroll (knowledge
of
payroll an advantage, but not essential)
•Attend cycle stock counts and
reviewing results of
same
•Working with
cross functional teams to provide finance
support
•
Prepare
audit
files
for external auditors
•Administrative
duties
preparation of ad
hoc reports
as
required
•Specific
duties
associated with client services
are
specified
in client
contracts/service
agreements.
•Ensure
protection
of client confidential
information in accordance with Non-Disclosure
Agreements.
•Support group
companies in
costing of
inventory and
ad
hoc pricing
•Ensuring that BOM and SKUs
are properly
maintained on ERP for Group
companies
•Manage team of finance personnel – mentor, train & develop them
•Carry out annual review and performance appraisals for the team
Qualifications and Education Requir
e
ments
•
Recognised
accounting
qualification (ACA,
ACCA,
CIMA).
•
At least
3
years PQE,
working
in
a similar
position in
a
multi
-
national
environment,
preferably in Life
Sciences
or Pharmaceuticals
.
•
Good
working
knowledge of ERP accounting packages with
an
exposure to process improve-
ment projects
•Strong
MS Office
Skills with a
focus on Excel.
•
Strong
time
management skills with
a
proven
ability
to multi-task
and
meet deadlines.
•
Re
s
ourceful,
independent and strong problem-solving
abilities
.
•
Team
player
with
flexible
and
hands-on
approach
where required
