About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting senior engineers and project managers in managing health, safety, quality, and commissioning activities on large construction sites.
Main Responsibilities:
* The successful candidate will assist in controlling and tracking the flow of project information and documentation from design to installation drawing management.
* He/she will also provide detailed sketches, layout drawings, schematics, P&IDs, coordinated drawings, sections, and builders work drawings for work packages.
* In addition, Mechanical Engineers will assist in developing installation and commissioning plans and programmes including site-specific RAMs and commissioning test packs.
* The role involves managing vendor and specialist sub-contractor project activities and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
The Mechanical Quantity Surveyor shall perform other duties as may reasonably be requested by his/her line manager or Senior Management Team members within their job description (Where applicable)
