My client, a leading financial services organisation, is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support the delivery of mission-critical customer and policy administration systems as part of a large-scale transformation programme.Job ResponsibilitiesLead discovery and analysis activities to define business needs, challenges and improvement opportunities across customer-facing platforms.Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather, challenge and refine requirements.Translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications and structured user stories.Collaborate with Solution Architects and technical teams to contribute to high-level solution design and system enhancements.Analyse and optimise end-to-end business processes across multiple departments.Manage and prioritise product backlogs, ensuring alignment with business value and strategic objectives.Support Agile delivery by participating in sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior Business Analysts and contribute to best practice within the change function.Experience RequiredMinimum 10 years' experience working as an IT Business Analyst within financial services.Strong domain knowledge across insurance, life assurance, pensions or related regulated financial products.Proven experience delivering change across complex, multi-system environments (cloud and/or on-premise).Demonstrable expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation and validation.Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with the ability to interpret complex data and processes.Experience operating within Agile/Scrum frameworks, including backlog management and user story development.Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment.Desirable SkillsExperience working on large transformation or cloud migration programmes.Exposure to customer administration or policy management systems within financial services.Understanding of buy-vs-build solution approaches and vendor engagement.Knowledge of regulatory or compliance considerations within financial services.Continuous improvement mindset with awareness of emerging technology and industry trends.Educational RequirementsThird level degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline.How to ApplyTo apply for this role, please submit your updated CV.
