We are seeking an enthusiastic API Integration Specialist to join our dynamic Professional Services team. Our innovative platform revolutionises legal spend management through intuitive e-billing and matter management, providing unparalleled visibility into legal work and cost control. What You'll Do: Customer Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their integration needs and workflows. Solution Design: Design and document API integration solutions connecting our platform with various external systems (Accounts Payable, Document Management, Matter Management, etc.). Technical Specifications: Translate customer requirements into detailed specifications, including data mappings and API endpoint definitions. Collaborative Development: Partner with engineers to ensure integrations meet customer needs and industry best practises. Quality Assurance: Prepare test data, create test plans, and validate integrations for performance and reliability. Troubleshooting: Be the first line of support for integration issues, escalating when necessary. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance our integration methodology, focusing on automation and efficiency. To thrive in this role, you will bring: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analysis, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. - 3+ years of experience in designing and documenting API integrations in a customer-facing role. - Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and familiarity with SOAP. - Experience with Accounts Payable systems such as Oracle, Netsuite, Coupa, or SAP. - Familiarity with integration platforms (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Apache Camel) and API tools (Postman, SoapUI, Swagger). - Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts for clients.
