This position oversees the delivery of services to homeless individuals and families in a 24-hour environment. The role requires strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on effective communication, team motivation, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
* To oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring high-quality delivery of support to clients.
* To lead and motivate staff to perform effectively, achieving high standards in service delivery and quality assurance.
* To develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
* To work collaboratively with external stakeholders, including statutory funders and community partners.
* To contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to reduce homelessness and improve outcomes for clients.
Requirements:
* A Bachelor's degree (Ord) in Social Care Practice (Level 7 on the QQI framework)
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a managerial role in a similar environment
* Signedificant experience in managing and/or delivering a complex service as relevant to this role
Preferred Qualifications:
* A Bachelor's degree (Hons) in Social Care Practice (Level 8 on the QQI framework)
* Experience of working with homeless individuals and families
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including Data Protection and Freedom of Information legislation
