We are focused on growing a sustainable business centered around our people, our clients and trade partners.PM Group now has an opportunity for Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist to work on-site (hybrid) with a one of our clients, they are based in Newbridge, Kildare.ResponsibilitiesLead the full EIA process, delivering EIAR and AA/NIS for large-scale renewable energy projectsProvide environmental planning expertise to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and policyKeep updated on environmental legislation and planning developments at local and national levelSupport stakeholder engagement and consultations with local communities, statutory and non-statutory bodiesPrepare technical scopes for third-party services and assist with procurement processesChampion health, safety, and environmental best practices across all projects.Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous professional development within the teamCollaborate with colleagues across Planning, Engineering and Senior Management to meet strategic business goalsQualificationsLevel 8 Honours Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or related discipline 5 years' plus relevant experienceUnderstanding of Irish planning law and environmental regulationsStrong communication skills and experience in dealing with internal (company teams and management) and external parties (industries, communities and regulatory agencies)Why PM Group?As an employee-owned company, we are inclusive, committed and driven.
