Job Description:
The Commercial Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in driving improved commercial performance and supporting Account Directors and Client Handlers in meeting the needs of their clients and our business. This strategic position requires a unique blend of commercial acumen and financial expertise to develop and implement effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and coaching Client handlers in financial tools and techniques to drive better commercial results
* Preparing and reviewing client budgets, developing costing models for New Business proposals, and forecasting for business and clients
* Client profitability/client contribution ratio analysis, partnering with Client Handlers to build the link between operational KPI performance and financial account profitability
* Supporting the Senior Management team in drafting, developing, implementing, and monitoring a multi-year growth strategy, leading on new business financials, and revenue recognition – month end function
* Ad hoc variance analysis, financial planning for the business including variance analysis and commentary, monthly management accounts preparation, audit liaison for annual statutory audit and internal
Requirements:
Fully qualified in ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification with minimum 5 years' post-qualified experience, preferably in a commercial role. Experience in working with a shared service environment is desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate will combine commercial understanding with financial technical knowledge to support client requirements within financial regulations.
