Bar Manager Opportunity at 5* Hotel in Cork
Join and lead our client's busy bar team in this exciting leadership role at a luxurious 5-star hotel.
The role involves supporting daily operations across all hotel bar outlets, overseeing service standards, hygiene, and managing the beverages sales budget.
The successful candidate will oversee staff induction, ongoing training, and development within the department. They will also handle stocktaking, liaise on purchasing glassware, cutlery, linen, and maintain equipment.
Leadership is crucial to develop and maintain a high-performing team and uphold service standards aligned with the company's culture.

Essential Knowledge and Experience
* At least 2 years of managerial experience in bar and beverages
* Experience in delivering 5-star food and beverage service
* Good cocktail knowledge and mixology experience is a plus
* Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
* Knowledge of Volante system is advantageous

* Positive attitude towards guests and colleagues
* Self-motivated with good organizational skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills, fluency in spoken and written English
Key Responsibilities
* Managing beverage gross profit margins monthly
* Managing payroll, rostering, and holiday planning efficiently
* Organizing the smooth operation of the hotel bar
* Staff communication, training, mentoring, coaching, and motivation
* Developing the department and team
* Organizing monthly team meetings
* Stock management and stocktaking for all bar outlets
