Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Strategist to join our organization. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for leading financial planning and analysis across various departments.
About the Role:
The Chief Financial Strategist will oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining the general ledger and overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain the general ledger and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Liaise with external auditors and ensure accurate completion of audits.
- Manage tax filings and compliance with local and international regulations.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in financial operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong knowledge of Irish GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
