In this role you will be responsible for
Working with the Firm’s Partners and Solicitors on collection and Work in Progress management.
Supporting practice areas and encouraging timely billing of Work in Progress.
Developing, maintaining and operating the credit control and WIP management system.
Producing, reviewing and analysing monthly and periodic reports.
Meeting with the Department Heads on a regular basis utilising best practice in working capital management strategy.
Assisting with general Finance department duties as required.
The Person
You have a minimum of five years’ credit control experience in a professional services environment.
You have reasonable knowledge of accounting policies and procedures.
You have the ability to work independently.
You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
You are proficient in Excel.
Familiarity with Elite 3E an advantage.
