Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced leader to oversee our residential services in Kildare.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with a strong understanding of national policy relating to intellectual disability and mental health.
* Lead a team of professionals in supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in a community-based setting
* Develop and implement service models focused on person-centred care
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
This is a full-time salaried position averaging 40 hours per week, with some travel required.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the team, ensuring effective collaboration and support for adults with intellectual disabilities.
Service Development
Design and implement service models that prioritise person-centred care and promote independence.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and mitigate risks through proactive monitoring and reporting.
Requirements:
* Master's degree relevant to the role
* Minimum 5 years' experience in senior management or a similar position
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Strong understanding of national policy relating to intellectual disability and mental health
