Description We are currently recruiting a Pricing Analyst for our Pricing & Underwriting Department.
Reporting to the Retail Market Pricing Manager, your role will be to support the pricing function within AXA Ireland to achieve overall financial targets for all classes of business / channels / territories written by AXA Ireland.

Away from home means either attendance at one of our head office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
You will work in a team of analysts and actuaries, while your main responsibilities will include: Part of a team responsible for tactical pricing performance of an allocated account/product.
Reviewing account KPIs to help identify underperforming segments.
Developing rate change proposals and premium optimisation routines with supporting analysis and supporting implementation.
Running post-implementation reviews of rate changes to monitor performance.
Provide support on requests for additional pricing analysis when required.
Derive and share account optimisation insights and analysis at regular account review meetings.
Work collaboratively within the team and share best practices.
Maintain existing internal tools by implementing new features and addressing any issues or bugs to ensure continuous improvement and reliability.
Qualifications Must hold a numerical degree in Statistics, Actuarial Studies, Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Sciences, a Masters in these areas would be beneficial but not a requirement.
2+ year's work experience in a similar Pricing Analyst/Data Science role desirable.
Proven experience using SAS, R and/or other programming language.
Proven experience using Microsoft Office suite.
Detailed oriented, problem-solver and solution focused with proven ability to deliver, prioritising and organising workload.
Autonomous, innovative, pragmatic, and able to apply known or new techniques.
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
Able to apply analytical problem solving, make recommendations, and implement improvements continuously in a dynamic environment.
Awareness of the overall compliance to Health & Safety, IT Security, and all legislation/compliance in Pricing department.
