Our client, a leading Corporate Services Provider that works with leading companies to establish leading companies establish and grow in Europe, is seeking a Head of Legal & Compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage the organisation’s legal and compliance activities, including but not limited to internal legal and compliance matters, AML/KYC processes and activities, company secretarial function and transaction execution in respect of new and existing transactions.
* Serve as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for internal entities and provide MLRO services to external Schedule 2 companies.
* Act as director on client companies where relevant.
* Liaise with team members, counterparties and advisers in respect of new and existing transactions, including coordination of all on-boarding and transaction execution processes.
* Provide annual internal legal & compliance training to staff.
* Develop, implement, and regularly review processes for tasks within the legal & compliance function, ensuring effective execution for both onboarding and annual review cycles.
* Act as first point of contact for team members for relevant legal & compliance queries.
* Provide guidance to team members in relation to day-to-day client queries and issues.
* Review of output from assigned team members, ensuring this is completed to a high standard.
* Hold review meetings with team members as appropriate.
* Review of work practises within the team to identify areas where greater efficiencies can be introduced.
* Escalation of any issues in relation to client and/or team delivery to the Directors.
* Assist with the review of client profitability schedules in conjunction with team members.
* Ad hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Specific Requirements:
* Significant experience in corporate services role will also be considered.
* Aviation experience is an advantage but not necessary.
* Demonstrates a strong client services ethos, delivering and promoting exceptional service to clients.
* Communicates in an effective and professional manner, with excellent verbal and written skills.
* Results oriented, making and meeting commitments.
* Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise tasks and deadlines.
* Highly organised with an eye for detail.
* Proactive, self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative.
* Positive approach to teamwork.
