The successful applicant will take responsibility for developing a defined sales territory within Bunzl Redistribution division with a focus on achieving sales and margin budgets, managing existing customer relationships, and assisting in developing and expanding our product range for the Retail Food Services market.About the RoleThe successful applicant will take responsibility for developing a defined sales territory within Bunzl Redistribution division with a focus on achieving sales and margin budgets, managing existing customer relationships, and assisting in developing and expanding our product range for the Retail Food Services market.ResponsibilitiesSalesTo manage and grow a portfolio of customers in the Redistribution sector.Constantly seek new opportunities to expand the portfolio and increase margin through:1) Prospecting new customers and maximising sales opportunity2) Range extensions, working with branded suppliers and own brand offering.3) Monitoring sales performance and activity levels and producing monthly reports detailing key result areas.Maintaining appropriate records on clients and sales activities.Producing reports as required for the management team for review and completing any customer reporting that may be required in a timely manner.Customer serviceMaintaining and growing existing portfolio by regular interaction with customers to achieve agreed financial targets (Sales, Margin).Calling on customers on a regular basis, providing quotes and ensuring that enquiries and issues are followed up in a timely manner.Maintain price files and advising customers of increases, managing expectations to ensure business is retained.Develop & follow an agreed journey plan for your area.Produce a list of target accounts to canvas for new business and report on the progress of this list monthly.
