We are currently seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Road Infrastructure Specialist.


About the Role:

This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced engineer to work on road improvement projects in County Cork. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing infrastructure solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

* Design and Planning: Develop detailed engineering plans and specifications for road construction projects, considering factors such as traffic flow, environmental impact, and safety standards.
* Project Management: Coordinate and manage road construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
* Site Inspections: Conduct on-site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with engineering standards and specifications.
* Collaboration: Work closely with architects, surveyors, and other stakeholders to integrate road projects into overall infrastructure plans.
* Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment required for road construction projects.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations governing road construction.
* Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks and challenges associated with road projects.
* Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure the durability and longevity of constructed roads.
* Community Engagement: Communicate with local communities and address concerns related to road construction projects, fostering positive relationships.
* Innovation: Explore and implement innovative technologies and construction methods to enhance efficiency and sustainability in road projects.


Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

* A minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience.
* Relevant industry experience is essential.
* Strong technical and design ability is essential.
* A full driver's license is required.

Salary is open to negotiation based on experience. The successful candidate will receive a company vehicle, all necessary equipment, pension, laptop, phone, and fuel card.
