We are seeking an
Assistant Project Manager
to support the delivery of a large-scale data centre project in Leixlip, Co.
Kildare.
This role suits someone who is either already operating at Assistant PM level or a strong engineering professional ready to step up into project management on major works.
You may be coming from a smaller contractor or have project experience on lower-value or residential projects and are now looking to progress your career on a complex, high-profile build.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and delivery of works on site
Assist with programme management, subcontractor coordination, and progress reporting
Monitor quality, health & safety, and compliance with project specifications
Support cost control, procurement, and variation management
Liaise with site teams, consultants, and client representatives
Contribute to project documentation, reports, and handover processes
Candidate Profile

Assistant Project Manager

Junior Project Manager
from a smaller-scale contractor

Senior Engineer

Site Manager

Site Foreman
with strong leadership skills and clear Project Management capability
You may not have managed a large-scale project independently but should demonstrate readiness to take that next step.
Requirements
Degree or qualification in
Engineering
or
Construction Management
Strong understanding of construction processes and site operations
Proven ability to coordinate teams and manage multiple workstreams
Ambition to progress within project management on major projects
