Manufacturing Supervisor - Coleraine - Permanent
A specialist manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a small team and support continued growth.
This hands-on role will oversee day-to-day production, ensuring targets, quality standards and health and safety requirements are consistently met while driving efficient operations and continuous improvement.
About the role:
£14.50 per hour
Monday to Friday (7:30am – 4:00pm)
Flexibility for extended shifts (6am–6pm) and on-call availability on Saturdays

What you'll be doing in this role:
Supervise and lead a team of production operatives, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are met.
Allocate labour and resources effectively to meet daily production targets and customer deadlines.
Monitor production output, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain efficiency.
Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed and promote a strong safety culture on the shop floor.
Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and performance reviews with staff.
Support training and development of team members, including onboarding of new starters.
Liaise with management, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve operational issues.
What you'll need for this role:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (panel, timber, food, engineering, or similar).
Proven experience managing or supervising staff.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A hands-on approach with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures and production processes.
Forklift licence (desirable but not essential).
