Job Summary:
This role presents the opportunity to collaborate with leading OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, contributing to the optimisation of manufacturing processes and the delivery of high-quality products in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Your New Role:
* Enhance manufacturing processes for components such as cylinder heads, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance through continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
* Develop and refine manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and safety.
* Implement best practices in machining, heat treatment, and assembly operations.
* Monitor and analyse process data to identify trends and resolve operational issues.
* Apply root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve process stability.
* Lead lean manufacturing initiatives and apply value engineering techniques to drive cost reduction, waste minimisation, and efficiency improvements.
* Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams to support the integration of new technologies, equipment, and processes.
* Ensure all processes meet internal standards and external requirements.
* Maintain documentation and support audits and quality reviews.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in engineering or manufacturing-related field.
* Experience with machining processes, fixtures, and CNC or specialised equipment.
* Strong data analysis and statistical problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and engineering documentation.
* Knowledge of ISO standards and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
